Primitive & Alternative Fire-Making

Learn to create fire the way our ancestors did—and in surprising modern ways you may have never tried. In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore primitive ignition methods including bow drill, hand drill, pump drill, and fire piston. We will also experiment with unconventional fire-starting techniques using water, chemical reactions, and reflective surfaces. By the end of the class, you’ll understand the science behind each method, gain practical skills through guided practice, and walk away with the confidence to make fire in a wide variety of survival situations.
